About DroidStore

How DroidStore Works

Anyone can upload SPK projects to DroidStore, but all uploads go through a short review to keep things clean and safe. Currently, manual review is not required, but automated checks are still in place to help prevent problems. Once uploaded, apps appear in the public listings and DroidScript itself unless it got limited visibility. You can also unlist or update your own projects at any time.

From Hobby Project to a Community

Originally launched as SPKStore around 2017, DroidStore started as a hobby project to make sharing SPK files easier. In 2019, it was renamed to DroidStore to reflect a broader goal: creating a dedicated, community-focused space for DroidScript-based apps. What began as a side project has grown into a platform used by developers and educators worldwide.

DroidStore exists to solve a simple problem: there wasn't an easy way to share and discover SPK-based projects.

Independent but Aligned

DroidStore isn't officially affiliated with the DroidScript team, but it's developed in close contact with its creator and aligns with the same overall mission. You can think of it as a third-party companion that fills in some gaps the main platform doesn't currently cover.

Not a Company

DroidStore is a privately run, non-commercial project. It's maintained in free time, without any profit model or company behind it. The goal has always been to support the community, not to monetize it. If you find DroidStore useful, support or feedback is always appreciated but entirely optional.

If you find any security related issues, please contact me asap, sadly i am currently not able to give anything in return for that though.

Privacy Matters

DroidStore doesn't track users, sell data, or inject ads. What you upload or download stays between you and the site and the host im using. You can read more in the privacy policy, if you're into that kind of thing.
